Claire Groos is a singing and dancing actor from Lake of the Ozarks Missouri. She is currently in her last year of pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance at the University of Central Missouri (UCM). Claire found out on a "Lovely Night" that she would be in the ensemble of Rogers and Hammerstien's Cinderella in the fall of 2023.  Then in Februrary 2024 she was cast as the "Evil Woman", Melpomone, in Xanadu. She played a plethora of characters in Guinevere and Lancelot, an original work by one of her professors in the summer of 2024. She was one of the visitors in fall 2024 in Amahl and the Night Visitors and puppeteered the camel. One of her favorite and "Perfectly Marvelous" roles was Texas in the musical Cabaret April 2025. Her most recent role was joining in the "Pandemonium" of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as the Schwarzy and Mitch cover in fall of 2025. She is currently working "9 to 5" as Judy Bernley in Dolly Parton's musical 9 to 5. When she is not singing and dancing she bartends at her local bar.
